A person who's been afraid of webs since they were 3. Do you think that's crazy or that person may have had nightnares about webs as a child and that's seriouse?

Your doing something called negative reinforcement.

I had that phobia at one time.
Immediately change your thinking whenever you see one, or whenever you think about it.
Change the first thing that enters your head.
Quit saying all the negative reinforcements and change them into positives. At least reword it to be positive.

"I know it is dumb to think this way..."
"I know I can change my phobia...."

If you keep being negative and asking if it is crazy, then it just gets worse.

You know about irrational phobias and how they take control of peoples lives. So, do something to change it.

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"

is it the webs or the fact that webs mean spiders?
