I know, I know, lose some weight - I'm trying! But clothes-wise. A lot of my weight has settled in my tummy area. I could use some clothing ideas - clothes that minimize my negatives and don't make me look like an old lady - I'm in my late 30s. Thanks!

A slight V-neck (not plunging neckline) is really flattering. Also, a wrap dress (especially if you have good legs), since it creates a waist for you and flares around the hips. I know it sounds unbelievable, but when I tried on a wrap dress it looked like I lost 20 lbs. (I am overweight, too). Make sure the clothes you have fit - don't try to cram into a smaller size it will just make you look heavier, but if you wear clothes for your size then you will look much better. Oh, and try to find skirts and pants without pleats (I think they are called flat front), since they are so much more slimming. Hope these help.

Typically, the way that clothes sit on you will not leave you with a flattering look. For example, when a woman wears a button-down shirt, no matter her size, the area inbetween the buttons tend to gap open, leaving the wearer with an unflattering look. But something as simply as a product called Privacy Strips solves the gap problems and makes what was once an unflattering article of clothing, suddenly beautiful. Make sure you use tools that are designed to make your existing clothes more flattering on you... one like Privacy Strips. I buy mine at my dry cleaners, but I know you can buy them on-line too.
Good Luck!

First off don't wear clothes that are going to hug your tummy. Accentuate the positives, down play the negatives.

I personally don't like make up or fancy clothes. Focus on what your best spot it, for example, if your eyes are really pretty, make all attention focus on them. If it was you're hair, than a cool headband, or something. But, remember, it's the inside that counts!

We like woman who are comfortable with their bodies, not thin "size 0" stick figures!
