Instead of using a foundation for pale skin try the new Natural glow moisturizer by jergens. This is one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. It comes in three shade light medium and dark. If your extremely pale you use light and if you are average skin you use medium. It never looks orange or streaky and with continued use the glow lasts and lasts. Best products ever! Try it
Good luck

Bare minerals all the way it is a little bit more expensive than your looking for but it is SOOOO worth it
its around $25 and you can find it at sephora
and if you don't have a foundation BRUSH you may want to get one (they are very cheap at target Sonia Kashuk) because it is a powder
and it also lasts a very long time, I've had mine for almost a year

I highly suggest checking out L'oreal Paris-True Match works great for pale skin. W1 might be good for you in the shade department. Costs around $7-10 depending on where you shop.

bare minerals! Feels like you're wearing nothing, gives great coverage, won;t clog pores, and it won't look all cakey. You can even fall asleep in it and wake up with no breakouts and etc.
Use a bronzer to give your face a nice sunkissed glow.
extra tips:
eyeliner -almay the one that lasts 16 hours to it won't smear
and waterproof mascara so if you cry, its humid, sweating or what not it won't drip off your face.
Use chapstick then a lipgloss on top.

instead of using foundation, i think you should just go tannning, it saves more time, you go once a month, instead of putting on foundation every morning and taking it off every night..
