Ford! Beyond a shadow of a doubt! Two reasons. Their trucks last forever (I drove a '77 Ford Ranger for 20 years, and for all I know, it's still running around somewhere. At least it was 5 years after I sold it. I currently own a 2001 Ranger. Love it! It'll be a 20 year truck too, if it lasts that long, and it probably will, based on past experience. Second reason: Ford makes the MUSTANG! That's the most awsome car that ever came out of Detroit, and I'm including the Corvette in this statement. Let's face it, most of us could never afford a Corvette, not even a way used one. Plus, I've driven them, and I'll be polite and say they leave a lot to be desired. They don't outpower Mustangs, not the top production models anyway, and the Mustang not only has a back seat, but a trunk worthy of the name. Try getting anything bigger than a case of beer into a Corvette and you have my sincere sympathy! Mustangs ROCK! I had a '68 back in the day. I was 17 when I bought it, it was a year old at the time and I drove it until 1974. I only sold it because vans were big then, and I wanted a tricked out truck. I damn near cry when I think of what that '68 Mustang would be worth today. But don't feel too sorry for me. I own two Mustangs today. One is a 1991 convertible, and the other is a 2005 coupe. If you know anything about them, the '91 looks more like the original 64-66 Mustangs than anything Ford has made since, at least in the convertible version. The coupe looked like that damned Triumph TR7 they made back in the '70's that we used to call the English doorstop, because that's exactly what it looked like! But the convertible softened the lines and made it a totally different car. As for the 2005, it's a work of art equal to the originals. Ford totally redesigned the car from the ground up. The Fox platform, which had been the basis of the Mustang since 1979 (if you're counting, that's 25 years!) was history, and Ford went for a retro look that resembled the muscle cars of 1969 and 1970. It even rides a bit like a '69, only better! Far more stable! And the acceleration is awsome! I don't even want to know how fast it goes, because I'm too old for that ****! (I'm 54) However, once I got caught in the middle of an 8 track railroad crossing when the booms started coming down! I said, "Oh Hell No!" and punched it. It was the only time I've ever floored it, and by the time I sucked in my breath, I was not only off the tracks, but half a block past them! This thing is a guaranteed classic. It's the first year of production for the new generation Mustang, so I can't loose. You can bet your sweet bippy, I'll never let this pony get away from me!

My car is a Mercedes SL and I dearly love it and cherish all it's little parts. I never have driven it as a convertible though. But now Mercedes went to Chrysler yet I still love my car even more because it was built before the changeover! I feel very fortunate to have it because the right car can turn into an investment. I don't drive it all the time with that same thought in mind. Something about the old Daimler Benz just speaks to me and it will probably be my last special car for a long time.

i detect it very hypocritical for the US government to be investigating because of the fact the government has a extensive declare in maximum situations automobiles glory. ordinary automobiles frequently has recollects, yet Toyota's have been on a plenty grander scale because of the fact extra then one variety became into recalled. yet, this super bear in mind makes me think of that the government is as much as something, and has something against the international's selection one automobile producer. Toyota's revenues of $263.40 two billion alongside with ordinary automobiles revenues of $148.ninety 8 billion final year provide them a competent reason to take a bite out of Toyota's fortunes. i detect it much extra nerve-racking that they try this after giving ordinary automobiles $fifty seven.6 billion in government money to maintain them working. Hmm, possibly the bailouts cause them to truly worth extra then Toyota because of the fact GM is an American enterprise, and Toyota is a jap enterprise. This takes enterprise faraway from Toyota, ever because of the fact they have been given those substantial recollects. i think of it somewhat is extremely a coincidence that this got here approximately after GM grew to grow to be government controlled, because of the fact the government has a stake in GM. possibly they concept that via doing an examine they could purchase extra enterprise for the atrocious ordinary automobiles. i think of they're in this for ordinary automobiles sake, and bringing down others to sanction the hit that GM has taken. i'm going to purchase jap over any American automobile. As for the president, he's a jogging, speaking money pit. he's bankrupting the monetary equipment. he's cutting increasing the nationwide debt at a speedy fee. $a million.9 trillion in his first year. the guy is risky. Black isn't undesirable, yet spending what you do not have can heavily drown your self as rapidly as ever. Use your head, and pull it out of your butt.
