Having good manners, knowing when to say "Please", "Thank You", call your boss "Sir" or "Ma'am" (if required), opening the door for people (not just women), and generally being polite, will get you noticed and promoted. If you were rude, you'd be out the door in a flash!

Having good manners show you were not born under a rock. Having "good manners" is a stepping stone to a better job, shows you are educated, that you were raised by good parents and good manners show you are,'sophisticated' and want to better yourself in work and life. You also need to "love" yourself and having the proper manners, lets 'people' know you are happy with yourself. A 'slob' never makes anything in life and you do want to make a "good" mark in life, don't you?????? And you do
need also to be .....proud of yourself........!!
