Jesus would be a socialist, or maybe a democratic communist. He'd be the complete opposite of Bush.
Bush is an autocratic corporatist. He's all about greed and power, especially for his rich cronies.
Jesus was a lover of all mankind.
He'd have reacted much differently about 9/11 than Bush.

Jesus wouldn't be a politician! If the American people elected Jesus as President, which is still unlikely (it's my belief that if Americans were ever faced with the return of Jesus, and saw what he really advocated as opposed to what Americans pretend to do in his name, they'd personally kill him b/c they are godless hedonistic pigs who only hide behind Christian values b/c at this point in time there's no one to prove them wrong or right one way or the other and selective ignorance is the American Way, so the Bible is inconsequential to them) he would condemn everything that Americans hold near and dear, and most of what those political war-lords who are pretending to follow Al'lah are doing, he'd have the government doing things like helping the American people something they've never done since America became a super-power. Americans would hate him b/c he would be there to dispute every time an American pretended there was a reasonable doubt that it was pious to do something, Jesus himself would prove them wrong. Mortgages would be no more, Hollywood would be shut down, capital punishment would cease, televangelists would be rebuked left and right. All the things that we view as normal would be outlawed, and Americans would come to resent it. The government would have no problem allowing him to be assassinated, and once Americans got a taste of what Jesus really stands for with no chance to cover it up in petty diplomacy they'd advocate it, and he'd be the only President with lower approval ratings then Bush at any given time. Americans would try to exile Jesus if he ever got to an influential position of any kind. Americans don't concern themselves with GOD unless they feel guilty and want to ease their troubled 'conscience', or if they have no other pertinent argument for their inane senseless views and childish actions they fall back on the most convenient interpretation of the most convenient Biblical passage to support them, and then try to say anyone who disagrees is a heathen, anti-American or a terrorist, b/c they aren't smart enough to say anything that involves intelligent thought and/or introspective analysis.

He'd say Dad (god) when those suicide bombers exploded them selves make it just kill them and not hurt the innocent men women and children, and all of the UN peace keepers who are trying to give the people of Iraq a safe country to live in a bullet bomb proof suit so they can carry out their good and unselfish work to make the world a better place to live...
Bush has a harder job he can't spare the gallant warriors who fight for peace. but his intentions are good to take the fight to the blight that is scaring the world.... how soon we forget the 3000 innocent people who died on 9 11..... without Bush attacking at the base of this plague we would have many more deaths around the world......
I pray TO Jesus and his father ... and pray FOR Bush to be strong and the Brave armed forces who fight and give their lives for freedom around the world

An interesting question, even if the purpose comparison is a stretch. I would assume based upon my reading that Jesus would most likely not have deployed troops to Iraq, causing considerable loss of life and damage. He most likely would be a bit more concerned with such things as social needs and less with corporate greed, but that's just my opinion.

Jesus wouldn't be president. Through his rejection of trying to be placed as king by the people, he taught that politics are not what changes people. Only God's presence changes people and "issues."

One could never presume to know, but perhaps he would have turned the other cheek and taking a beating. Unfortuantely, if we do that to much, are enemies would destroy us at least in the short term. I don't think you can campare any President to Jesus

Jesus wouldn't be President. He was in the world, not of it. He also said to render unto Caesar what was his, and to give all else to God.
