Not really ... most are fake, two-timing, and don't trust them.
Target the biggest gossipers and Anonymously e-mail her to no end! Create a new e-mail account with her name on yahoo or something and send it to her work e-mail address all day with random messages. You could include links about gossip, what they actually gossiped about, they might get worried that what they said got back to the person; this may straighten out the problem a bit!
If not, it will drive her crazy having e-mails coming in to her from herself! Use the computers at your local library.

No. I consider that normal though. Especially when you work in an industry that is predominantly women. Not to be a traitor to my sex but they can be catty, vicious and nasty for entertainment.
If I make a friend at work a consider it a miracle. If I can work cooperatively with them I consider myself lucky. If I can manage to make it through the day without violently acting out its a job well done.

Yes, I get a long with my co-workers. I am thankful for that. Some people work with others they cannot stand, I am thankful I don't work in workplace like that.

I work in a large office and everyone gets along just fine. I work with other Engineers and we're all cut from the same cloth.

Only dislike 2 of them (out of about 30). Not a bad group of pp. but there IS a thief among them... cant wait till they get busted.

I am lucky to like my coworkers. They are fun and I like spending my time with them.
I have worked at jobs before when I hated my coworkers and that was a terrible thing to go through everyday.
