I am a software designer and my old job has requested me to come back. It paid more but was a longer commute with more responsibility. However, there was more chance of getting a higher position. My current job pays less with a much shorter commute but little chance of a higher postion. What would u do?

My personal priorities would be for the shorter commute so I could spend more time with my family. What are your priorities? More home time or higher pay? Take into account the extra gas money and car wear and tear when figuring which pays more. Is it possible to work freelance or at home for your old company?

i just took my old job back. I get paid more money and i'm less stressed. But you have to look at the decision from all angles for example can how far can you go if you go back. And is worth the money and the commute. Good luck!

Why are you asking so many times and still cannot decide? May be it's time you should seriously work for yourself - start a business! Go to http://cashgeny.com and try it out.

You continually travel forwards in life.

You don't turn back (except if you pass some booty and want another glance)
