Ribosomes are the places where proteins are made.

Proteins are made of chains of amino acids joined together.

mRNA brings the code for building the proteins; tRNA brings the amino acids to join to the chain.

Well to answer your question fully:
The DNA holds the blueprint for making amino acids, which in turn creates the protein. From inside the nucleus. the mRNA, takes a copy of the "bluprint" to the ribosomes, where rRNA holds it down while tRNA "checks" with the copy of the blueprint to see weather or not the amino acids are in the right order. In the end, the amino acids bond together to form proteins. You can say that ribosomes produce protein, for they are the site of protein production.
