look for a website that will do it, they can send you a code, you can do it online for about 3 quid, easy, i was with orange and did exactly that :)

You can get it unlocked from any independent mobile store, if your town has a market hall theres sure to be a stall selling 2nd hand mobile phones and they will unlock it for you. It will Probably cost you between £5-£15. Also you maybe be able to get it unlocked on ebay for a couple of quid.
