Star Trek is by no means racist. Did you know that the original Star Trek series was the first time a white man (Captain Kirk) kissed a black woman (Uhura) on American Television? Also Captain Kirk's crew consisted of a Russian and Chinese officers. This was something unusual in those days.
And it is Klingon. What are you thinking of?

The message of Star Trek is that a utopian society is finally achieved. One in which religious, ethnic, social, racial and gender classes are erased. So that mankind can expand the reaches of self. Sounds good in theory. But in reality all the most important humans and the most achieved aliens are played by cacusian males. The main examples are Vulcans who are intelligent, well mannered, logical and whose society has reached an apex of culture, beauty and prominence. Yet the Klingons are brutish warriors, smell badly, drink, fight, ill tempered and by the way are dark skinned and played by black people. Oh and by the way ,Klingons started off as white in the orginal series, but got updated to dark skin in the movies and tv shows. The idea of Star Trek is not racist. But certainly how they display that idea on tv and movies certainly is.

your funny,,, Star Trek broke the race barrier,,, if anything, since it was filmed during ther cold war (that was when we were at odds with russia), the Klingons (correct spelling), were the representation of the Red threat, even though a Russian character (Checkov) was part of the mutli-cultural crew. And if you are referring to the slang word that also means a pile of sticks, you are wrong again, Sulu came out of the closet and he was an officer aboard the Enterprise. Remember the military's rule-don't ask, don't tell,,,

I don't watch Star Trek. I know a lot of people do. If it was racist that would have been made known a long time ago.

What a boredom type question.
It's a TV show.
Take whatever you want out of it.

What is next? The purple character on Telly Tubbies?
Something about Sponge Bob?
