honestly a tanning bed is safer than natural sun. Here's why - natural sun has both UVB and UVA lights, both of which cause skin cancer but only one which of which, UVA, darkens skin. Tanning beds are filtered, they only have UVA's, so even though you're still putting yourself at risk it's not as bad as real sun. Also you in the tanning bed for 10 - 20 minutes maximum depending on how modern it is, you need to be in the sun for hours to get a tan.

to really be safe you can get a spray tan. i hear they're getting pretty good. don't do it home though - they have spray tan boths. i hope i helped and good luck on your tanning journey!

noah.

Neither are 'safer'.

Yeah, it might take longer to get skin cancer from a sunbed... but seriously, tans out of a bottle are the only no risk ones.

they sell tanning lotions that i used to get when i was young, i know every body raves about it, but see'ing with me polish, anemic, andat high risk for cancer i couldn't sit out in sun too long to tan nor in a tanning salon, but try the lotions, they work wonder and are about $8

If you don't wont to damage your skin then just go out to a place and get a nice spray on tan, they don't damage your skin and they look pretty real as long as you go to a good place to get it. : )
