It was Auguat 16, 1977, and I remember because it was my birthday and I was out celebrating, but then I heard and I stopped. It was really sad, he was so amazing and can never be replaced, rest in peace Elvis.

It was 1977 and I was only 9 years old, so I can't remember exactly where I was.
My mother was a big Elvis fan, he and my brother actually have the same birthday. After that my mother got a big ceramic bust of Elvis and let him sit on top of the china cabinet.

He died in 1977, the same year my daughter was born. I was at home.

yeesh. I think I was about ten so that woulda been 1977 (??) in my friends backyard & couldnt understand WHO he was & why it was a big deal...& why her mom & my mom were so upset. HE WAS THE MASTER
