Clinton hopes to enlist the support of thousands of women through what her campaign is calling their "women's leadership network." The campaign is asking female supporters in the network to take active roles in supporting Clinton's candidacy by e-mailing other women, campaign adviser Ann Lewis said.

The question is not if you think she'd make a good president, but rather, what do you think of her appeal to women voters? Could Obama make a similar appeal to Blacks and succeed?
"Today, women are a majority of the voters, a majority of students in college, and we are a growing presence in the Congress. But there are still far too few women in leadership positions," Clinton told a crowd of roughly 1,300 at a luncheon for EMILY's List, a national political committee that raises money for Democratic women candidates who favor abortion rights.

I am a woman and will vote for who I think is the best candidate. It may be her and it may not. She is trying to encourage a very large segment of voters (females) to get involved, hopefully, with her party. I don't view that as a bad thing.
I wish people would stop including abortion in the presidential election issues. The president CAN NOT change this law. It can only be overturned by the supreme court in a new case. Congress can, and should limit it. Nobody ever campaigned on this issue before it became legal. Those people who believe abortion is wrong will never get one. Actually, most people who are pro-choice wouldn't have an abortion either.
Hilary Clinton is a very strong, level headed person with as good a resume to be president as any of the other candidates. I want to know what she plans to do about the North American Union, free trade agreements, corporate power, plans to end the war, the reinstatement of the constitution, and the end to the Patriot Act, illegal immigration, Social Security, protecting pensions, health insurance, and many more pressing issues.

I don't believe that Hillary Clinton is asking for votes just because she is a woman. She is asking women to support her as a candidate because of her views on various domestic and foreign policy matters.
While I don't anticipate that she will get the nomination in the end, if she does I think it is almost inevitable that the fact that she is a woman will be held against her in both public and private debates, as it has in so many races. The inevitable question will be does a woman have what it takes to lead in a time of war. Rather ironic I think, given our present "leadership".

Boo hoo. Unfortunately for Mr. Hillary Clinton the majority of women vote Republican especially married, white women. Most women LOATHE Mr. Hillary. That's why he's pandering in that direction, but just like the crap slinging with Obama, it will backfire on him.
And the Libs say Ann looks like a man!!! Ann Coulter is hot on her own, next to Hillary she looks like a goddess.

That Hillary she is very clever. Look--people vote for the best candidate. Inside the voting booth we vote our hearts. After you check the paper backup to verify your vote, give yourself a pat on the back and be proud you are an American.

I'll just let her keep thinking that way. There are a lot less female voters than men. In either case, she's history and she'll spend all that money for noting.

Hilary's awesome! I think she would be a great president. But then again...anyone would be better than Bush. He's a complete moron. I suppose just getting him out of the White House would be good enough for me!

She's a woman? I guess anyone that identifies with Hillary should be checked out just to make sure they are indeed female.

To be honest, I think that's her best (practically only) policy . She doesn't have much else to stand on. Might as well use what you can to win, right?
