Well...all we know of you is that you're a native of Massachusetts. How can we tell whether this is a good move or a bad one, for you?

Have you ever visited the South? How far south? Did you like it?

Do you like heat and humidity and bugs?

Do you want to move into a very different culture? Do you know enough about the culture of the place you want to move to?

Do you have a job offer there? Can you get a job there? Can you afford housing there?

This isn't something anyone can answer except YOU.

nicely, in case you propose here on R&S, i'm hoping I do. i be attentive to my grammar and spelling are undesirable (rather much wrote is), besides the undeniable fact that it is the message one is making an attempt to place across it extremely is significant. actual, grammar and spelling help get the evaluate the process extra easy and make it extra easy to be taken heavily. Spell examine does not artwork each and all of the time and in specific circumstances i attempt to decrease and paste for the excuses above. yet i will get pressed for time and in simple terms write as terrific i will so the guy can recieve a sturdy answer which should not be puzzled with a scholarly artwork. My Father, who basically has a 6th grade guidance, can extremely write and yet whilst he does i don't write him back or impressive him. He merits know and is very smart on non secular concerns and different aspects as nicely. Plus there are few products of equipment he can't function. We of the college set ought to learn from his occasion. basically a fool passes up understanding because of fact of grammar and spelling.

Yes. Anywhere south of exit 8 of the Jersey pike is an upgrade. Take you awhile to get used to the new words but you'll be happier. Too far south may be culture shock but you can handle it. Stop before Florida. You can fly there real cheap from anywhere.

Well, in Birmingham it was 70 degrees today, if that tells you anything.

Actually, forget all the stereotypes. We've found Birmingham to be a surprisingly cosmopolitan place, like a lot of Southern towns. The people are gracious and welcoming, as long as you respect the culture (really important. You don't have to be like them, but don't make the mistake of telling them that they're doing everything wrong).

depends on what part of the south your moving to and do you like a very slowwwwwwwww pace of life and I do mean slow because there are some parts that are a little more up beat then other parts but not many. it's a nice place to live and very affordable but it's a dead place also with not much to do

I live in Massachusetts and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. And I moved here from out of state.

Yea, if you like the area you are moving to, go for it. It's good to make a change from time to time. South rocks and if you will like it, you will be able to settle down, or move back to colder Mass.

I think that it's a good idea. Besides getting out of all of that snow and cold, you will be in one of the hottest job markets, and the weather is fairly mild year round
