we almost had a question and answers without pungency or nastiness. Though it is only worrds, now, the younger religions still fear that which they don't understand. I thank you all.
I have used all three/four, but, I guess in being old I am a traditionalist and use willow and hickory.

I am a builder and i use coat hanger wire.
People cant believe how accurate this method is when i am trying to trace underground pipes or drains on older properties. I laugh when other companies come along with so called high tech equipment and fail to find the fault or want to charge a fortune when I can do it with a coat hanger !

People can dowse with all kinds of tools.
1. limb (usually willow or peach)
2. bent coat hangers
3. use a pendulum
4. I prefer to scan the area with my hand and pick up where the energy changes, I always have my hands with me. ;-)

I have actually heard that copper wire works best, but not for sure on that one.

I TRIED THIS FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT ONCE HANGER WIRE WORKS. DON'T KNWO HOW BUT IT DOES.
