We all hope that a government is upfront with its people but history teaches us other wise. Everything that the U.S. is doing is counter to what is best for the country. We now have information all over the place that tells us our government is running its own agenda.

When a government gets to the size like the U.S. and all its operation run under a cloak of mystery you can rest assure the people are getting skewed without Vaseline. How much time does the working stiff have to devote to research to track the working the hidden working of the political process? More importantly how many are even savvy enough to understand all the information that comes at us?

Most of us just don't have the time to check and cross check the reliability of the information that comes downs to us from the media. One person mentioned the militants mid easterners that hate us may be a threat yet every intelligence of our military or and home land policing force as turned out to follow false leads yet taught their arrest as a success on the war on terra yet their arrest don't hold up in court. You only need to do your research to find this out.

History as taught over and over again how government fail their people so what makes us think the U.S. government is not doing the same as I write? Our constitution has been trashed and the masses don't realize because the minorities are feeling the pinch right now. Do you thing all the prisons are just for African Americans? Most Caucasians think so. They are just gearing up for the rest of us. The patriot act is the kryptonite to the constitution and the masses can't see it. In about 5 years we all will be singing the blues.

The government is that way because we the people let it be like that. We can take it back by writing to our reps now and if they don't listen vote for somebody else next time. If they don't do our will throw those bums out too and keep doing this until we get people who truly govern in our interest.

Do you trust the people you elect? When you say trust, do you believe every little thing they say? I say by and large, most of the people in the government are telling us everything as correctly as they can about terrorism. I believe that they are NOT behind the 9/11 attacks. It is perfectly reasonable to believe that the attacks were carried out by Al Queda. Militant muslims hate us and want us to die. Anyone who doesn't see that is willingly blind and willingly ignorant.

I don't think it is... I think only a fool would fully trust politicians and just give them a blank check...

but I don't really buy into the "super conspiracy theories" out there either... mainly because I don't think they are competent enough to pull much of it off...

I think that there is a lot of corruption though... and things going on behind closed doors, but I think more of it has to do with manipulating tax dollars than killing Americans...

more financial crimes than anything else... white collar...

The political machine is misleading us all.

It is not about truth anymore, it is about "spin."

Hillary in 08, let's let another clinton make a joke out of the whitehouse.

Yes definetly! They are based on untruths and keep twelling us what we "want" to hear.
