have you ever been tempted to go back...and take other road? (For one reason or another)

Nah.
I've been on this road so long I can't go back.
As I approach every 'fork' in the road i consider the decision.
I've always said that I'd hate dream "what if" so once the decision is made I'm comfortable with it. I have taken some detours...but no regrets.
And remember ...its not the destination that defines us...its the path taken.

I am and I was tempted to go back, but then I got ran over by the only damn car on the road. Just my luck.

No, I usually take a different road when I go visit my mum (southern california), there are more than 3 roads to get there.
I like driving even if it takes 7 hours.

I WAS on the road less travelled unfortunately it was a one way street and I had to try to make it to the end. I did. (depression)
