oh hun just go tell her. It's nothing to be ashamed of. She was a girl to and will remember when she started. My mom cried when i told her, but it was because i was growing up and not her little girl anymore. Haha you will be fine, my guess is she probably has an idea that this happened. moms just know this stuff.

I did the same thing. I didnt tell my mom for a year, its funny i finally found someone who did the same thing. I had older brothers so i was afraid they would find out and make fun of me. Honestly there is nothing wrong with having your period. You should be proud (even though its the worst feel ever..lol) but its kind of like a grown up kind of thing.you know. The way i told my mom was like do you have a pad or tampon she said yes and that was the end of that...i felt good i didnt have to hide it, plus i didnt have to buy it myself she bought and paid for it..
just let her know. its silly to hide it, but i cant say i didnt do it because i did!
lol

I waited to tell my mom for like, 2 months. My little sister found out and told my mom, but I don't really have a tight relationship with my mom. Just tell your mom. It's normal.

Just tell her. She has been right where you are and will totally understand! That is the nice thing about mom's they usually know what your are going through with this kind of thing! It is natural nothing to be ashamed of.

wow, I think you should just tell her. Or just slip it to her by asking her to pick up some tampons the next time she goes to the supermarket; that's a good way to tell her without having the awkward position of sitting her down and telling her.

just tell her you have your period, it is natural for girls to have their period at the age of 9-12.

TELL HER! I did the same thing, I hid it from her for around a year, and when she found out she was disappointed I didnt tell her. Better if she hears it from you then finds out some other way.

well tell her about it so you dont have to buy they napkins yourself. If she loves you she wont tell anyone to embarrass you and she is pry wondering why you have not started yet.
