Exspecailly when talking about reality shows on MTV, VH1, and E!.

I think that they are super scripted. At the very least, producers tell the people to go and start a fight with someone. Also, casting chooses people that are confrontational.
I know for the MTV show Laguna Beach, the episodes show what "really happened" but what you see are "reenactments."
Personally, I don't really like reality TV.

very scripted as we need you to entertain the audience for ratings scripted, as here is the outline, impromtu a little, but make sure you are slutty, combative, controversial scripted,,, so basically scripted to the nth degree of being scripted, while remaining a "reality" show,,,
