I have heard that when both the male and female sex of the same animal look the same (Canadian Geese, deer) the animal is colorblind and animals that look different (ducks) are not color blind.

I looked around a couple pages with info on canadian geese. I saw nothing about them being color blind. I'm sure there are colorblind canadian geese but as a whole species they don't seem to be.
