i cant use the following:

any type of cotton
foam rubber
styrofoam
fabric
bubble wrap
aluminum foil
bathroom tissue
paper towels
tissues
paper in any form, including cardboard
bread
dryer lint
marshmellows
"easter grass"
plastic wrap
lawn clippings

You could make a crate out of balsa wood (it's really light) and fill it up with styrofoam, shredded paper, packing peanuts, etc. to cushion the egg. also, i would make a lid for the crate and glue styrofoam or bubble wrap to the top of it so that if the crate lands on the lid it'll have some cushioning.
