Hold up paint samples and see what goes together and what you like. You can get the samples at any paint store.

I avoid the problem entirely by having a neutral off-white on all of my walls downstairs. That way I can change my drapes and accessories at will.

my dad did that, trust me dont do it. paint em all one color, unless u have ALOT of items and stuff.
