Florida residents can play for 3 days for $40 per day plus tax, for an adult. Having the park hopper feature is extra. Florida residents also get greater discounts at Disney value hotels and on campsites at Wilderness Lodge.
Check out Disney's website and click on the Florida resident specials.

As a Florida resident, you already are entitled to a discount no one else can get. Otherwise, the best discount is if you work at one of the Disney properties. This company has entered the total profit phase of business. I've been visiting Disney World in Florida since it opened way back when. The ticket prices have gotten totally out of realistic range for families and the quality of the theme parks has dropped off so far that I don't think I will ever go back there again.

Wow...you will always get the "great" discount...but your best bet is timeshare meetings but watch out- you have to be married, over 25, or own a home for most of them. Other than that- just go an purchase them. There really is no other way. I think AAA offers like 3 cents off! Wahoo! Right?
Now, you ask the best way- um-at the gate, but if you mean the best time to go- wait! It is right in the middle of spring break crazyness! I would go late April- early May.

The cheapest way is to have a friend who works there to get you in with their card. They can get so many free entrances per year. Other than that AAA gives the best rates with the resident discount.

I am surprised no one has said it, but the absolute cheapest way to get tickets is to do one of those timeshare tours that offers them. It's two hours out of your life that you would love to have back, but that's nothing compared to how much time you are gonna be standing in line anyway.

Disney not in any respect grants reductions, they don opt for to. in case you're a member, evaluate paying for them at Triple AAA which sells tickets slightly more low priced then the gate fee. A Florida resident would save $9 on a a million day bypass. in addition they promote tickets for the different Orlando parks.
