I got my drivers license pretty quickly, usually a year or 2 before my friends got it, but I really don't need a car for everything I have to do. I can get to work with a bike or with public transport, do the shopping with bike or on foot, even in bad weather the public transport system or even carpooling and buying stuff in huge amounts works very good. I usually get a good discount as well, and when stuff if almost over time and going to turn bad, I can either but it in the freezer or give it to my chickens. All other vegetables are in the garden.

I used to.
Now, it's hectic out there. Especially, on the highway. 6 lanes of traffic and the last one is an exit.
Driving to or through the country is fun. Just get on a dirt road and let the wheels spin or slide into each turn. Drift...

That's what I did when I found out on Christmas Day that my fiance was cheating on me. I just got in my car and drove and drove and drove. Over 200 miles.
Therapy, yes. But with gas prices these days, probably more expensive than going to a shrink.

Many people have used driving as a form of relaxing. Some parents take their babys for short drives to help them fall asleep.

I love driving especially if I'm going on vacation. I'm looking forward to my baby and I going on some nice drives like to her hometown in New Jersey and to Savannah, Georgia to see Paula Deen.

Yes I love driving --listening to my cds and singing along, I do look forward to riding next to my man when we go on some road trips to different places. He can drive me anywhere his heart desires.
