i was told at 17 they will put out a warrant for you if you runaway but won't make a big deal looking for you. But, what happens if they find you b/c I still plan to work and go to school? Will they make you come home? what if you refuse?

There are other ways to leave don't just run you are almost 18 then you can do whatever you want.I don't really know why you want to leave so bad but there are other options rather than running away.Ask for help,a teacher or guidance council er minister, or someone else you trust.

Why would you bother to run away at 17? It isn't that much longer till18 and you can walk out the door legally. Just wait till then or is it you just want to give grief to your parents? Don't get me wrong,You may have reason but its a crewel world out there and I'd wait till I could handle it better.

What is one more year, at 18 you would be a legal adult then leave and that way you will at least have your diploma, If they find you you would either end up at home or juvie, Good luck

If you have a place to live, go to school and work, there is really nothing legal that they can do to make you go home.

depends on what age the state considers you an adult.....but yes they can take you to juvy where it would be up to the judge to decide on what happens to you....
