mitosis occurs in every cell except the reproductive organs. meosis happens in the gonads (testes and ovaries)

meiosis occurs in the ovaries for females, and the testes for male. For males, the product of meisosis are four haploid sperm cells. However, for females the product of meiosis is one haploid egg cell.
Also, mitosis does not occur EVERYWHERE in the body. For example, mitosis does not occur in the brain, for brain cells can never be replaced, nor can muscle cells. You would find mitosis in the skin, organs, e.t.c. Hopes this helps:D
