When I first got diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder I told my sister in law and she was understanding. About four months later we got into a fight and she said "You have mental problems and need to get something done about it." I'll admit, I called her a loser when we were fighting, but I feel like she went too far with that comment. My ocd isn't the reason I called her that and having ocd dosen't make crazy! She also told her mom that I had mental problems and her mom called me "schizophrenic". Wasen't that going a bit too far?

Name calling is common in families. It sounds like it is done frequently in yours. Treat this situation as it is - just name calling. The only way to stop people from calling you names is to make it a practice not to call other people names. Once you have done this for a long period of time then it will be appropriate to point out that someone has called you a name and ask them not to do it anymore.

The thing is i have a ocd but very small ocd and her callingyou that was reallyharsh and you should talk to someone in your family about that because that is un called ofr and you shouldnt be treated badly because of a mental issue[not trying to say ocd is bad]

Look, everyone says things they don't mean. Maybe she was still upset with you and told her mother that. You should probably tell her how you feel about this instead of blabbing about how much of a 'jerk' she is online. She was mean, but you did call her a loser, and hurts more because if someone you care about treats you that way you would be, of coarse, upset.

But she did go too far
