if the Creative Media Explorer could not detect your player (see the error message below), it is likely that there is a drive letter conflict , especially if your PC is connected to a network or if you have multiple drives.
To resolve this difficulty, manually change the drive letter assigned to your player or some other drives.
Plug the MuVo player into an available USB port.
Log off the network.
Restart your PC, and log in as Administrator or an User Account with full Administrator privileges.
Click on My Computer, the Nomad MuVo should be listed as a Removable Drive. If it is not listed, plug the muvo into a different USB port.
Click on Start, Control Panel, then double click on Administrative Tools, then Computer Management.
Click on Disk Management under Storage, then right click on your MuVo device, and select Change Drive Letter and Paths...
Select the drive letter assigned to your MuVo, then click on Change, and change the drive letter to one that is not one of your regular drives, for example, change the drive letter from F: to Q:
If your system hangs when you try to change the drive letter, unplug your player or camera from your PC , and go to Windows Control Panel, double click on Add/Remove Programs. Locate the program associated with your device, and uninstall it. Restart the commuter, and try to change the drive letter again.
Restart your PC and log on to your network. The Nomad MuVo should be displayed as a removable drive with the new drive letter. Be sure to always stop the device before unplugging it from your PC .
