Wow, dude, hopefully you've gotten started by now.

First, I'd Google "Anna Nicole Smith death" and see what comes up under news. I just did that and came up with more than 19,000 hits. You'll want to include coverage from a variety of sources. I'd look for articles in places like the New York Times (requires registration), Washington Post, et al. I'd also include web publications like TMZ. You might need to go to some of these sites and search for older articles. Unfortunately, enough time has passed that some sites have archived them and will require you to pay for access. There are enough that don't do that, though, that you should be able to find what you're looking for. Definitely include USA Today -- you can find stuff on their site dating back years.

You should show that a broad range of coverage made this this top story of its news cycle. You might also want to illustrate how the news media covered other stories less, even though those stories might have had a broader impact on society. Draw your own conclusions, but back them up.

For video, I'm sure that YouTube has a number of news clips about her death.

Best of luck -- if you need any help at the 11th hour tonight, send me an e-mail. I'll do my best to help you out!
