should gender be dimorphic?

should we only have male and female gender or should we have other gender options, or maybe we should scrap the whole idea. i have recently completed a degree in this and am interested in peoples opinions.

Scrap the whole idea of gender roles. I started to switch from living as a man to living as a woman, but then I thought about my ideas of what gender roles are and I realized they're basically a joke. Now I use the label genderqueer and live how I'm comfortable.

We do have other gender options, there is genderqueer and trans gender. On that basis I'd say that gender should not be dimorphic. These days gender is used quite loosely and people often get it confused with the term sex, or sexuality.

I think that the option for gender fluidity should be open, but many people are content to stay in conventional gender roles, and that's fine too. Whatever makes them happy. I'm a male to female transsexual, and am in the process of realizing/becoming my true self... what I'm going through is just one expression of self among the many that people have.

What other gender options?God made a man and a woman to procreate and live in harmony.You may have lesbian and homsexual couples, but these couples will never be able to procreate their own child.These couples may adopt but their relationships are short lived.

it SHUD be.. and if u end up with babies cool if u dont cool cos we dont need to repopulate much dese days.. so do what u want.. da main reason people subscribed to gender roles was to populate...... ........... its also cos generally der r obvious differences but if the lines blurr,, let it be.. dont judge

I think androgyny is the future. No hetero, no homo... just sexual.
