I have been feeling movement down there for a while down there. I have been told that it is normal after you give birth. Well that was nine months ago. I'm on the pill since October. Every once in a while I would forget to take it or be late about it. I don't think I'm not. I have been having my period every month now. Is it normal to feel movement down there after you had a baby or no?

I still get that feeling every now and then and it has been almost 3 years since I gave birth. I have yet to come back with any problems from my yearly gyno exams so there is nothing wrong with me, but you may want to ask your doctor about it just to be on the safe side.

What do you mean by movement? I would call your doctor about it. If you just had your period, then pregnancy is pretty much out of the question, although it has been known to happen (like with me!!). You can still have a period if you are pregnant, so I would call your doctor and talk to them. They may want to see you. I never felt any sort of movement after I had a baby, besides after pains, unless I was pregnant again, which did happen to me six months after my baby was born, with me breastfeeding and on the pill.

So, call your doctor and talk to them. Sounds weird to me, and I've heard plenty of weird things.

Huh? I have never felt movement down anywhere after I had the baby. If you think you have movement you should take a test or get checked.

There is more in your stomach then just your uterus! The movement is probably just matter moving through your intestine, something that becomes more obvious to you as you grow older. just the way older cars have more little noises and shakes so does the body. My final word is if your that worried just spring for the home test and settle your nerves.

Not generally... I mean what exactly would cause it to move? There's no baby.
