In New York, there is a promotion called 20 at 20, in which remaining tickets to shows are sold for $20.00 20 minutes prior to the show. I don't know if Wicked is participating, but if not, there is always the TKTS booth currently located at the Marriot Hotel on 46th Street and Broadway.

The best way to get cheap tickets for Wicked is to go to the box office two hours before the show you want to see and sign up for the lottery. They give away about 24 front row tickets for only $25. It is actually fun to stand and wait and see if your name is called.
I've gotten tickets twice that way!

try ticketmaster or buy them off of someone you know.
if all else fails....ebay.
