I have windows 98 se and I would like to hide my messages somewhere in my computer. I dont want to keep them in the usual mail area where anyone can access them. Is this possible? Thanks.

You can go up to the top left corner and click on "File," then click on "Save as" and give it a name and watch where you save it so you can find it again. I don't know how to make it where someone else couldn't find it unless you save it on a disk and hide it.

What I do may be antiquated...so here goes:

I block and copy the message.

I go to Word Perfect and copy.

I save that in a file folder with a different name.

Then I delete the e-mail message.

not sure what e-mail your using but i use yahoo ---i created a file in notepad and named it -- then saved it -- then when i want to save email i just open mail and look for save message text and click that -- then i save it in the file i created in notepad --- each email i name different

just use one of e-mail programs (for example Outlook Express). This application will download your from POP3 mail server to your computer. Good luck!

You might be able to save on your file buy not deleting it at all and just leave it in your in box.

all email can be saved elsewhere to preserve them. Once saved they can be removed from the email server list.
