besides nash who are the top five guys to have on a run and gun fast break team, (a team with the suns style of play)

to konammike i actually do watch the wiz all the time being that im from dc, and ur rite, i cant think of a moment when the phone booth aint pshysed but the wiz dont have what most fast break teams do, a guy who can throw it down and go up and get alleys and stuff to really make the crowd say wow.

To be a running team, you need to go small and yet still be able to defence, ie steal and fast break.
PG - Kidd - the all rounder PG who can find u anywhere. Honorable Mentions (Chris Paul, Deron Williams)
SG - Arenas - He is fast and can defense and shoot 3s ... U need a couple of 3 pt shooting in a run and gun style of play cos u will always be in some half court play regardless of how u much u run.
Honorable Mentions (Kobe, Ginobili, AI)
SF - Melo - He can score at ease at SF and run faster than LeBron. I want to make LeBron but I think Melo suits a running game more than LeBron.

PF - Marion - Who else can run like Marion at Power? He can shoot 3s too and defense extremely well.

C- Amare - powerful centre who can run and score.

Jason Kidd - was Nash in his prime, even if he's a bit old now
TJ Ford - voted by the players as the quickest player in the game
Amare Stoudamire - fastest center in the league, can throw it down
Chris Bosh - runs the floor better than most big men, perfect at the 4 spot and he can shoot from anywhere now
Dwayne Wade - big name player but he runs well, can pass, and throw it down
You can't have too famous a superstar because they can hog the ball and slow things down, i think Wade would be amazing in a run and gun atmosphere

wow no mention of baron davis? shows how much people dont pay attention to the warriors. the warriors are in the top 3 in fast break points. for run n gun teams, you want a good, quick, playmaker. baron, kidd, nash, paul. you want athletic swingmen such as richardson and carter. basically your entire team has to be able to run and be well conditioned. look at my warriors:
PG: baron
SG: richardson
SF: Jackson
PF: Harrington
C: Biedrins
bench: monta, pietrus, powell, azubuike, sarunas, barnes.
they can all run n gun, not as efficient as phx but still good.
the only guys who cant run is foyle.

Washington does it even better. you should watch their games, with butler and Arenas and stevenson. They 4 in fast break point and golden state is 1 but on their last meeting they had 25 fast break points and gs 0.
