Orwell wrote other books although none as well known as Animal Farm and 1984. I haven't read any others of his. However, if you liked those two I would recommend Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The Giver (can't remember the author) is geared a little more as a children's book but I enjoyed it as an adult and it also deals with similar ideas.
