If anyone has experience preparing for it, how long did it take you and how much time a week did you put in? Did you pass your first time?

Monkeys can pass the CA Real estate exam. If you have common sense and/or half a brain, don't sweat it.

You should probably prepare for 1 month before. I studied a lot of the vocabulary, and that is the toughest part of the entire test. I really stressed out about the test but when I got there it was really easy. Yes I passed. I probably studied 10 hours a week for 1 month. Do that and you should pass.

Crash Course if definatly worth the money plus they give you about 1-5 answers that are on the test. Do the math portion last unless you are very good at math. I agree with the first post and Study the heck out of the Vocabulary makes a difference because the test will try to trick you. Understand your DEEDS back and forth.

Good luck

Once you have taken the test for the class, give yourself two weeks to study for the state exam. I highly suggest you take a crash course on it. They cost about 100$, easily pay for themselves when you pass the first time. Most are garaunteed anyway. Your best bet is to study test questions from prior tests.
