And make it look so good? Especially if they're married? I always thought that a kiss would always make you feel something, that it required passion, that you need to "feel" something in order to do that deep-in-love-tongue-entwining kiss?

You don't need to feel passion...just h o r n y.
They are proffesionals and practice with their wives/husbands at home and when they do it on-screen with their costar, it's just like any other day on the job.

The actors/actresses don't really find passion in kissing other people on TV. Their spouses are usually okay with since its just a part of their job. They practice in school ( there's a class for "Hollywood kissing") and have certain excerises.

I hv wondered too. Ah, they get to cheat on their spouses as part of their work huh!! (cynical me talking :-). For some it could be a mechanical thing without feelings. But ofcourse, in this case, they are 'acting' so yes, their feeling that they show, is 'an act'. Hopefully. Well, they could have a secret crush or a rush of sexual feelings maybe, but ofcourse they won't divulge all this to anybody. For them it's all "professional".....& it very well could be. In an embarrassing, confusing way, esp. in such intimate scenarios. But we hv to also consider, that there are a ton of people watching while they enact the scenes. So it's not as intimate as we might think.

PS: I'll never ever marry an actor. Never. I am too possessive and sensitive to such things.

They are actors - actors (supposedly) have the talent to express a feeling or emotion that they are not currently feeling and make it believable. That's why it's called ACTING. And you believe it, right?

Also, just to play devil's advocate, perhaps in a sense they do feel some passion for the kiss...hence all the Hollywood marriages and divorces!! : )

I agree, but when you have a hundred million dollars to motivate yourself, I think you could fake it. Keep in mind, it's their job. They have trained and spent their lives practicing for this. I'm sure their mate at home has a few concerns over it but at the end of the day, hopefully they're at home with their mate kissing for real.
