Does your child have hyperhidrosis? It's a fairly common problem for teenagers, but it can be really devastating to their self-esteem. You can go here to read more about hyperhidrosis: www.sweathelp.org.

There a couple of over the counter products that can help this. One is called Certain-Dri, and you can buy it at Target or Walmart or you can order it online at drugstore.com. The other option would be the Secret Clinical Strength, which I'm sure is quite safe for a 12-13 year old to use. (Although the Certain-Dri is more effective. I've tried both.)

The other option would be to take your child to the doctor and get a prescription for a product called Drysol. This is a really strong deodorant which will stop the sweating completely.

Good luck!
