If you are located in Kern County, Ca contact the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation. They will help you out in terms of rent, groceries, medical bills, etc. They are just called Mexican but they help you out regardless of race.

Section 8 that's a program that will help. Whatever city you live in might have that program.. Then you can also try to get on a housing program. There is usually a waiting list. Like in Oklahoma there's a program that is called Section 8 hosing. It's called OHFA standing for Oklahoma housing finance agencies. So more than likely there is the same thing in the town you live in. But as i said you must qualify. And you must get on a waiting list.

Generally not. You want to go to a nonprofit agency that helps people with social services. They will tell you how to get help with paying utility bills and things like that, but generally there's not help for rent. However, they will give you very helpful advice anyway to fix your problems, so you should try it out.

Life Assistance I believe it's called. There's also housing projects where your rent is based on your income.
