i already own a netgear usb wireless adapter but dont want to go back to netgear router. will this adapter work with any wireless router.

It should work ok but there could be an loss of signal at times or the degration of signal

Yep. I use a netgear router and i have a belkin adapter in my laptop and it works fine =]

It should as long as the B or G standard is supported by both devices. Example - Router is 802.11 B then adapter has to be 802.11 B. same for G. Sometime they can support both. Mine does.

it should. wireless g?...protocol is protocol
do some research on compatability.
find a router you like and check the FAQ pages and stuff.

it should , other wireless adapter cards work with their routers .
