There are a few ways to release anger. Try:

1. Yoga Class
2. Listen to relaxing music to get your mind away
3. Scream into a pillow/punch a pillow
4. Take deep breaths
5. Do anything that will get your mind away from the things that make you angry.
6. Keep a journal/diary

For a quick fix, take some empty bottles to a recycle bank. Pick one up, pick one of the things you're angry at, and pretend to put it into the bottle. When you're sure that the bottle is "holding" the anger, fling it into the bin-thing! The smashing is a great release. And you usually don't go to the recycle bank unless you've got a few bottles, so there's plenty of room for all your rage.

It'll probably come back, though, so you need to think about whether those things are what you're really mad about, or is it something in yourself? maybe that you can't change something you feel strongly about? Work on accepting what you can't change, and trying to change what you can. There's no sense in carrying around all that anger. Do something positive instead, even if it's only writing a letter to a paper or a politician to express your views. And then do something for your mind, like yoga or reiki or meditation or just taking deep breaths for the count of 5 on inhalation and exhalation - any of these repeated often enough will start to calm you.
Good luck!

Sex. Nothing painful unless you're into that, just work up a sweat and pound away. You should feel much better faster.
Anger is one of the problems with the British life style in my opinion. Become a role model for yourself and that will take your anger away as you will have something to look up to.
I mean stop dicking around on yahoo answers and start achieving something tangible.

We don't lose anger. It is something we learn to work through. By evaluating yourself and why you are angry is a good place to begin. Think also about whether or not anger is good or harmful. You will find that no one benefits from anger and it quite often causes hurt to others as well. People don;'t enjoy being around angry people.

You could find a psychologist before October if you wished to. Source - UK

Don't cure the symptom - anger, just stop the cause - your perception and reaction to this society and other people. Work on this, change what you choose and then move on. Or wait till October.

Good luck! Rob

Usually when I am in a bad/angry mood at my computer I listen to heavy/hard rock musiclike system of a down, trivium, disturbed etc. A few times I have ripped up old magazines or have cut them up with my leatherman and just use all the knives on it. One time I had a bunch of foam and stabbed it a few times and then cut it up into small bits. Also like doing stuff with fire - burning stuff with magnifying glass, or just burning stuff in the fireplace.

You'll have to change your mind about all of the above, since they are obviously not going to do anything different than they always have. Good luck. Sounds like time for a long vacation on some empty beach.

This is what I do when I get mad. The first thing I would do is turn on the radio and make sure it is loud, after that I clean my whole house from top to bottom. This works great because you will not hurt yourself or someone else. Have fun cleaning.
