Blue jays are big, and so are the predators (yes, like a liger.)
Larger owls and hawks are their primary predators. Snakes, if quick enough, will eat them on the ground.

Especially birdhawks, or, accipiters; like Nortthern Goshawk, Cooper's hawk, Sharp-shinned Hawk. They are especially fond of picking them (Blue-jays and others) off birdfeeders.
