I need to upgrade my paintball mask. Should I get a Vents Avatar or a V-Force Profiler. They cost about the same. Which one and why?

Your mask is THE most important piece of equipment you will ever own. Your best bet is to find a paintball store close to you and try on a couple different types.

I love my Profiler's but my cousin hates them and prefers his Proflex.

Since everyone has a different shaped head and face, the only way you are going to get a good mask is to try them on. After all, if it is uncomfortable then you will be more apt to pull it off. My Profilers fit me so well I forget I am even wearing them in between games and usually don't realize it until I go to light a smoke *lol*

simple answer. yes, a v-force. A v-force grill is probably the best mask created at this time. but it is expensive. Buy a cheaper v-force. make sure its anti-fog. the mask is one of the most important equiptment that a paintballer has. Fogging will ruin the game.

I must agree with Rob on this one, this is going to be pressing against you face for the whole game, you need to be able to breath in it, you need to be able to see, and remember that you need to concider the weight, the less weight you need to cary the longer you can go. don't get a Dye invision, the look good and have a good field of vision , but they are the second heaviest mask on the market, the only one heavier is the JT head shield.
