Criticism from friends that i know means well and just wants me to better myself in ways that i don't see are highly acceptable. but unjustified blame or criticism from other than those gets to me, and yes i feel resentful, and try to strike back as soon as possible... i do not forget or forgive for that matter anyone who meant harm to me in any way...

That`s no problem when one understands what is happening.
Blame is a negative emotion. On a scale of 22 emotions, it is number 15. This means that the blamer could move up the scale all the way to joy and appreciation or drop down to fear, grief, despair, depression, and powerlessness at no. 22.
In a conscious effort, I should be able to move the person up to worry or disappointment, which both feel better. I then would keep the conversation there for a while and then again through conversation try for boredom. That usually does not cause much resistance, however it is the bridge to what can only be called the positive side of the list. I would then guide the conversation to hopefullness (no. 06) by giving some examples of situations which changed for the good in the past and when I observe a lack of resistance, shoot for empowerment and freedom. Maintain that great feeling spot for a while and celebrate. Nothing left but to enjoy my developing skill at helping out my friends. Yahoo!

Yes, no problem dealing with them. I think a whole lot of respect for myself that those criticisms are not true and applicable to me. Unjustified blame? let them be. They can blame me 1mil and 1 times and if it's not true, who is laughing?, me for sure for their wasted energy and thinking a lot of a great deal for a person like me.

If the criticism is right, I accept but not to a point that I will bend over backwards to accept, I will show that it is corrigible in the end.

Criticisms from extended family and unjustified blame have made me survive life and made me strong in beating its oddballs.

Constructive criticism is okay but if it's unjustified I give as much back as I get. That way they think twice before doing it again.

No. No I can't. I may not always speak up about it (although I usually do) but to be honest, I'll hold a grudge about it. There are things that happened to me over 10 years ago that were just unfair, and when I think about them, I'm still as angry as I was on the day it happened. Useless, sure. But that's how it is.

Each and every time, when I didn't merit it, I got resentful. Some folks is jest idjets, I reckon: not happy unless they're makin themselves out to be the biggest pig in the pen. Don't you love bacon?

Yes. I know whats right and whats not. Let others think and act as they like. I don't waste my time on negative emotions and feeling resentful is a negative emotion.

YES, you must remember to check where or who it's coming from. If they are in a lower place than you, just disregard it.
If they have a much better / happier / successful life than you, take it as constructive criticism and then disregard it.

i call this passing the buck, criticism is truth that tend to unfold into a blame issue , he or she did that etc
how one handles the issue , but feeling resentfull , is one not accepting the peron version or you simply dont need or wish to hear it , the way it was presented , we cant allways be right , but getting blamed no way , that your right to feel the way you do ......
