I wonder who out there has always dreamed about being a dj even part time? Or volunteering time at a station? Just wondering cause we make our listeners into djs alot and they do 2 hr shifts kinda getting slow

i was a dj..i left the business. its all about politics and little about talent and it seemed to me the better you kiss azz the better you survive. i felt it was too much loss of personal integrity to do what some idiot consultant tells you to do when i knew otherwise. i miss the job but not the people and havent regretted the decision for a second. most of the people i met would stab you in the back in a minute if they knew it would up thier career. good question...good luck.

I've always wanted to be a dj, but it's next to impossible or that's what my counsuler said. She said that there are few jobs and then once people get them, they don't quit. So there are few jobs out there, but if you're committed enough then you can. I bet if you wanted it enough you could be a dj. It might be a long road, but one day you'll be great!
