Have you tried installing the product's drivers. I'm sure that it came with a CD, make sure that it is installed and that you don't connect the device before the software tells you to. (if you connect it to early windows could attempt to install it's own version of the drivers which can render your device unuseable - not permanently) Once you've followed the instructions make sure that the device is enabled. Check out your network devices and make sure that it is showing.

Most likely you need to install your Wireless's Drivers

Your Wireless should have come with an install disc.

*IF*it didn't just go to the website of the company that vmade your wirelsss and downlaod the drivers for it.
