I'm making a site for a make-up artist that whats to begin a Bridal business, It will be all in flash. she is purchasing the .com, but will need me for updates and upgrades as well as making the initial pages.

Either make sure you're paid by the hour (otherwise you'll end up working for free) or make an honest estimate for how much time it will take, multiply it by your rate, and double it (since everything ends up taking longer than your honest estimate), and then specify that any changes after it's approved and goes online will be paid for separately, again, either hourly or by the job (estimate prices for upgrades the same way.)

$50 per hour is reasonable for Flash work.

I charge anywhere from $35-$60 an hour depending on the complexity, etc.
