I did volunteer work in India for two months at The body of Christ ministries. Amazing place, they keep you extremely safe and very well taken care of. There are other americans there so you will have someone to talk to in english! Just $100 a month is all they asked me to pay. They have a gated base with two schools, a church, and two orphanages (one for boys, one for girls), and an office that you can work at if you like.They just built a home for the babies, and they are starting a medical clinic.There are a lot of things you can do to help. Its in Rameswaram, an island off the southern tip of India. I miss it so much.
