I met a nice guy at a straight dance for people over 30 yrs olds. We exchanged phone numbers and he's asked me out for a date. Feeling pangs of guilt, I called him to explain that I'm transgendered. Knock me over w/a feather - he sounded a little funny - not surprisingly, I guess - but said that he still wanted to go out. Should I do it or am I headed for a disaster?

meet him at someplace public. When your trans you have to be more careful. Good for you for being honest too!!!! You did the right thing, but you have to protect yourself too.

Sure! Give him a chance! He might be looking for a chance to try something different; expand his horizons. But if you get down, don't ask him to be a bottom! He will most likely want to retain the dominant male role! But it could work out. Good luck!

Start out slowly....meet the first time and just be yourself. Time will tell whether you can trust him or if he's being sincere.

Sometimes you just have to take the risk in order to find happiness. Big Bear Hugs!

Yeah - go on a dance and just see how it goes - just don't expect to much, so you'll hopefully get a nice surprise if things work uout. All the best.

Make sure you meet somewhere public, etc. Congrats on meeting a guy that didn't run upon hearing that you're trans.

It's possible that he's into you anyway. To be safe, you should meet him in a public place and don't go anywhere private with him until you know he's safe.
